The online store ABmobil d.o.o. (Carwiz rent a car) available at www.carwiz.hr offers its clients vehicle rental according to the conditions and prices specified on the website itself.
- TERMS OF SALE
The General Terms and Conditions of Use and Business determine the procedure for ordering, paying, and complaining about the vehicle rental service that ABmobil d.o.o. (Carwiz rent a car) offers on the website www.carwiz.hr
The procedure is defined through the following steps:
- RESERVATION OF THE VEHICLE
Before reserving a vehicle, it is necessary to read the General conditions of the vehicle rental agreement, which can be found at https://www.carwiz.hr/en/important-information/general-terms-and-conditions-of-the-vehicle-lease-contract/
In order to make a reservation for car rental on the website www.carwiz.hr, it is necessary to go through all the mandatory steps of the reservation process, which include the following:
Step 1. - Selection of the branch office and the time of pick-up and drop-off of the vehicle
Step 2. - Vehicle selection and payment options (Pay now or Pay later)
Step 3. - Choosing an insurance package
Step 4. - Selection of additional equipment and services
Step 5. - Filling in basic information about the driver (First and last name, e-mail address, phone number)
By confirming the reservation, the buyer agrees to General conditions of the vehicle rental agreement.
After the Booking Confirmation, the customer will be redirected to the Adyen website.
- METHOD AND SECURITY OF PAYMENT
The client can only pay for the car rental service by credit card. The following debit and credit cards can be used for remote shopping: Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Premium or Diners.
When paying at the online store ABmobil rent d.o.o. (Carwiz rent a car), Adyen is used - a system for securely accepting payment cards via the Internet. We ask the customer to read the terms of use of the company Adyen and the terms of use of the card company through which his pament will be executed prior to completing the payment process. By making a payment, it will be deemed that the customer has read the terms of business of Adyen and the terms of use of the card company through which his payment is to be executed.
Adyen is a secure system for online payments, real-time payments, credit and debit cards and other payment methods. Adyen provides customers and merchants with secure entry and transfer of entered card data, which is also confirmed by Adyen's PCI DSS certificate. Adyen uses the SSL certificate of 256 bit encryption and the TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol as the highest level of protection when writing and transferring data.
Adyen, as an executor of credit card authorization and collection, handles personal data in the capacity of a processor and handles personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council No. 2016/679 and according to the strict rules of the PCI DSS L1 regulation on protecting registration and data transfer.
Personal data used for the purpose of preauthorization and billing, i.e. in the performance of obligations from the Agreement or based on the Agreement, are considered confidential data. Adyen does not process or use the customer's personal data except for the purposes of executing the authorization contract and billing. Adyen guarantees the fulfillment of all conditions specified by the current regulations on the protection of personal data for the executors of personal data processing, and especially the undertaking of all necessary technical, organizational and security measures, and this is especially confirmed by the PCI DSS L1 certificate.
- CONFIRMATION OF THE RESERVATION
After paying for the reservation, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address entered in the last step of the vehicle reservation.
- CHANGING THE RESERVATION
The customer can change the reservation directly on the website www.carwiz.hr using the link "View or modify", by e-mail to the address [email protected] or by phone at the number +385 1 409 4444.
Changing reservations is free, but Carwiz reserves the right to change the price of the rental according to the applicable prices.
- CANCELLING THE RESERVATION
The customer can cancel the reservation in the following ways:
Directly on the website www.carwiz.hr using the link "View or modify", by e-mail to the address [email protected] or by phone at the number +385 1 409 4444.
- POLICY OF THE CANCELLING PROCESS
The reservation can be cancelled at any time before the planned date of pick-up of the vehicle WITHOUT FEE.
- REFUND IN CASE OF RESERVATION CANCELLATION
In case of cancellation of the reservation with the right to refund, the refund will be processed no later than 14 days from the day the customer cancelled the reservation.
- COMPLAINTS AND OBJECTIONS
According to Article 10. of the Consumer Protection Act (Narodne novine No. 41/14), we inform customers that they can express their dissatisfaction with the purchased product or service by submitting a written complaint at our offices, and we will confirm receipt of the complaint in writing without delay. The merchant undertakes to respond in writing to complaints in writing within 15 days from the day of receipt of the complaint.
- METHOD OF PROTECTING CONFIDENTIAL DATA
ABmobil d.o.o. (Carwiz rent a car) undertakes to protect the personal data of customers, in such a way that it collects only the necessary, basic data about customers/users that are necessary for the fulfillment of our obligations; informs customers about the way the collected data is used, regularly gives customers a choice about the use of their data, including the ability to decide whether or not they want their name removed from lists used for marketing campaigns.
All user data is strictly kept and is available only to employees who need this data to perform their work.
All employees of ABmobil d.o.o. and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.

- DISPUTE RESOLUTION
All disputes arising from the interpretation, application or execution of these Terms and Conditions may be referred to mediation before one of the mediation organizations in the Republic of Croatia.
In the event that, despite efforts to resolve the dispute by agreement, a peaceful resolution of the dispute is not achieved, the jurisdiction of the court in Zagreb and the application of Croatian law are agreed upon for court disputes.
- FINAL PROVISIONS
The General Terms and Conditions of Use and Business are available on the official website of ABmobil rent d.o.o. (Carwiz rent a car) www.carwiz.hr.
ABmobil d.o.o. (Carwiz rent a car) will publish and make available all amendments to these General Terms and Conditions of Use and Business in the manner provided by law.
These General Terms and Conditions of Use and Business took effect and apply from January 1, 2023.
